Future Leaders of Skyline Summers

This program is offered to mature and qualified teenagers during three weeks of our summer.  Our future leaders will participate in a mix of overnight camp programs, leadership training, and assistance with our day camp program. The program includes training in leadership development, life skills, group dynamics, teaching techniques, age-level characteristics, and decision-making skills.

F.L.O.S.S. campers have “Majors” in Counseling, Kitchen, Maintenance, and Farm & Garden. Campers will spend time on one “Major” each morning, and a different “Major” each afternoon, one of these daily majors will be working with day campers.

F.L.O.S.S campers stay overnight at Skyline under the guidance of our Skyline staff. You must be able to attend the full week of camp, this summer we have three sessions.

Each week is limited to eight FLOSS campers, which means that campers are generally limited to one or two weeks of FLOSS each. If campers are able to spend multiple weeks at camp, we encourage them to try other overnight camp sessions as well as FLOSS.
