September will bring runners, walkers, amblers, and wanderers to the woods and fields of Almont’s beautiful Camp Skyline. Skyline boasts 200 acres, including the highest point in Lapeer County.
We will be doing a 5K run, a 5K walk, and a 1 Mile run/walk. Packet pick up/registration begins at 8:15 am, start time is 9am and/or 9:30 am.

Why a Fundraiser?
Since 1964, Skyline’s non-profit mission focuses on Making Camp Possible, and these days more than 150 campers receive some level of financial aid every year. This event will primarily support that cause, in addition to Skyline’s other programs and events throughout the year.
Why the Campfire theme?
The campfire is a place of community, and a good representation of Skyline’s intentions of building community and affinity for the natural world. During the event, the race route will pass by several blazing campfires with s’mores available at the last one.
