Leadership

 

Matt Henry - Executive Director

 

Matt first became part of Skyline in 1994, and has served in a number of capacities during this period. Matt has a background that includes experiential education, teaching, youth ministry, and child protective services. Matt is co-chair of Standards for American Camp Association, MIchigan, and a Red Cross Instructor for Lifeguarding, First Aid & CPR.

 

Erin Furze - Assistant Director (Birmingham office), Day Camp Director

 

Erin has held a variety of roles at Skyline reaching back to 2010. During the retreat season, Erin handles much of the reservation and invoicing, but in the summer is a very experienced Day Camp director. Erin is a qualified Wilderness First Responder

 

Shana Henry - Program Director, Volunteer Coordinator

 

Shana's time with Skyline began in 1996, and she has served many years as a counselor and program director both here and elsewhere.  An experienced teacher, choir leader and community organizer,  Shana brings great spirit and joy to all who who wander into Skyline.

 

 

Shawn McCloskey - Maintenance Supervisor

 

Shawn began with us in 2015, and takes excellent care of the site and guests, always with a friendly smile. Shawn is an excellent problem solver and a great conversationalist.

 

 

Kendra Talbot - Guest Services Coordinator

 

Kendra has been part of Skyline's team since 2008, and brings a wonderful creativity and laughter to the kitchen, and care for our housekeeping. Kendra is ServSafe trained, along with most of our kitchen staff.
